What is Reiki Lineage and why is it important?
The Universal Energy that Reiki taps into for healing is passed down from teacher to student, through a series of attunements. Mikao Usui Sensei is who we have to honor for bringing about this Universal Energy back into the human realm, and all Reiki practitioners should be able to trace their lineage back to Usui himself. My training and attunements happened over the course of a year, and this immersive and intensive training, in addition to nearly 75 practice hours before I graduated to Level III Master, provided me with a solid understanding of energy work, and the skills necessary to facilitate deep healing and wellness.
I am deeply grateful for my teacher, Danielle Battagione, and regularly honor my powerful Reiki Lineage that was passed down to me to carry on. I am working on saving up to begin my Level 4 Master studies, which will allow me to then pass on attunements to future Reiki students.
